What is Winter ADP?

Functional Training

This section of the program is a continuous, step-by-step, and progressive program designed to first increase the athlete's ability to master the ball and second, be able to apply these technical skills to tactical decisions in different realistic game scenarios. The program does this by creating an environment where the athlete is constantly in and around the ball and is continuously exposed to scenarios that require individual technique and proper decision-making to solve these technical/tactical moments of the game with guidance from our coaches. These scenarios increase in cognitive, technical, and tactical difficulty as the program progresses and are paired with the necessary technical progression to create a successful and competitive learning environment.

 

Sports Performance 

The sports performance section of the program will help athletes prepare for the game's physical demands by building speed, agility, quickness, and power from the ground up using a science-based approach. Our strength program will utilize a 3-pillar approach to enhance the athlete's balance, muscular strength and endurance, and maximal force production. We aim to provide a challenging environment for our athletes in each session by introducing them to various modalities, such as soccer-specific plyometrics to enhance their speed and power, mechanical drills to refine their running mechanics, and more. We intend to target every physical component the athletes need to become more lethal and productive in the game.



WINTER 2025/26 PROGRAM


The Winter 2025/26 Athlete Development Program (ADP) will be a 7-week training program that begins December 1st. 


All training will take place at CGLA Indoor Facility at 1049 S Hawthorne St

Chattanooga, Tennessee.


Days: Monday and Wednesday


Dates:

Block 1: 12/1, 12/3, 12/8, 12/10, 12/15, 12/17

Block 2: 1/5, 1/7, 1/12, 1/14, 1/19, 1/21


Max Capacity: 60 per time slot

2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 6-7 PM Ball Mastery, 7-8 PM Sports Performance

2015, 2014, 2013, 2012: 6-7 PM Sport Performance, 7-8 PM Ball Mastery
