Chattanooga FC Academy has announced a new partnership with Veo Technologies to offer intelligent software and video to all teams within the Academy.

The system provides teams a portable solution to record and analyze matches and training sessions from a 30' tripod to create that necessary tactical view. This video is accessible to all parents and players within the team. The platform is currently used in the MLS, as  well as Academy programs in Spain, England and the United States.

“Recording games has always been a part of any great player development philosophy, but logistically it’s difficult to achieve on a consistent basis. The ability to help a great club like Chattanooga FC Academy offer this service to its members is something Veo is proud to be part of.”

Using an intelligent software system, this platform recognizes positioning of the ball and players, allowing it to automatically zoom and pan depending on the ball's position. The system’s 180-degree camera features two 4K lenses, offering fully viewable recordings.

“This technology will allow coaches to supplement their player development through visual learning, which will be a game-changer,” said Steve Hirayama, Director of Coaching.

“As more and more of our players choose to pursue the game at the next level, the ability to analyze a game tactically will help those players develop an even higher soccer IQ."

How Do Reservations Work?

We want to make this technology available to as many CFC Academy teams as frequently as possible. Some teams, such as State League teams, and those with players on a high-performance pathway may wish to utilize the camera more often. We want to make that available at an affordable cost.

A reservation system will help us maximize use while making sure all teams have access. All games have unlimited access to the video and unlimited downloads for everyone on the team.

In addition, coaches and age group directors may reserve the camera to record training sessions as available.
